Featuring over 150 varieties of organic loose leaf tea, Remedy Teas offers a fresh interpretation of the urban cafe experience. Remedy is located in Seattle's vibrant, off-center Capitol Hill neighborhood. The intention of the design was to present the teas in a manner that would challenge common sterotypes of the tea experience. Rather than overtly asian or british influenced, as is often the case, this tea cafe draws its inspiration from chemistry lab equipment and off-the-shelf industrial pipe rail fittings. These elements are set in contrast to natural walnut counters and tables to emphasize the organic characteristics of the tea. The resulting cafe is both urban and sophisticated, yet decidedly exhuberant about its main focus - tea.
