This residence takes advantage of a large corner lot to create two separate living units, each with its own private yard and entry. The two units are "flip-flopped" about a shared, thickened wall. The smaller accessory unit opens onto a private, fenced yard at the corner, while the primary residence (seen in the photo above) opens onto a larger private yard beyond. The thickened wall establishes a sense of distance between the units, yet the primary reading of the project is of one house.
